  • Ramon in Japan

  • Work is quite busy again, it seems like I'm back for a month already. :-( Things with the Atelier are still busy, but on a much lower pace. I'm arranging some last things with the finances and data. The Atelier itself is quite empty, not with the lively athmosphere all you guys brought along. But who knows...

Just hope too see you all soon again!

    Happy New Year

Happy New Year one and all,

and now, a message from Marc.

    Hello everybody,

First of all: Happy new year and all the best.

So far I didn't sent any messages to the blog but I've been very busy on board. In the end I joined the ship in Kalundborg, Denmark. That's on the other side as the same island Kopenhagen is on. It turned out there where som people on board that I allready knew from previous trips so that was nice.
The next day we where still discharging cargo (empty cable rolls from an offshore project) but that night we left for Kristiansund halfway up in Norway. We had to discharge also some cablerolls over there and after a couple of hours we left port again and headed for Antwerp. The next days we had a christmas at sea with quite a lot of wind so the ship was rolling and pitching a lot during this trip, but the christmas dinner was very nice.
The 28th we arrived in Antwerp for the scheduled drydocking where we still are now. Luckily we don't have to work on newyears day so I could go to Rotterdam with Esther and tonight we go back again.
We will be in drydock probably until the 14th of januari so if anyone would like to visit the ship, feel free. Just give me a call and I tell you where to go.

Well, that was my update sofar, the next one will probably be through the blog. I hope to hear from everybody how he/she is doing this year with their new job and everything.

    Byebye and all teh best,

    Marc
